Since nearly every aspect of our work winds up touching the web in some way, FrogSlayer has decided to officially step into the web development arena. I’ve personally been making websites for many years, and I’m pleased to be heading up this venture to help people have a web presence.
One of the common problems that most people face is deciding what to put on a website. We know that we need one in order to establish a web presence. We may have already bought the domain name, and we may even know what colors we want to use; but what are we supposed to put on it?
Start by deciding what you need your site to do for you.
Do you want to start blogging? WordPress is the most popular blog platform, and it can be customized to suit most needs, and we specialize in developing sites on the WordPress platform (so we’re not biased or anything).
Do you need to take orders for products you’re selling? There are several different pre-built solutions for eCommerce sites.
Do you simply need for people to have your contact information? A business card site is exactly what it sounds like. The same information you’d find on a business card on a clean, simple website (along with a couple of social media links).
These are only a few of the many reasons that you may need a website, and there are different ways to meet every need. Anyone who tells you that they can do it all is either bluffing or spread way too thin.
